Here’s How to Get All Free and Paid Deep Sy Episodes in One Feed in Your Podcast App
Here are three different methods, with simple, step-by-step instructions, for getting your paid feed into your podcast app.
Note: These instructions will not work for YouTube, which only supports subscriptions to free podcasts (they will, however, work for YouTube Music).
Method 1: Via DeepSy.net
1. Make sure you are signed into Substack on your phone’s browser. If you’re not, go here, and click “sign in.”
2. On your phone’s browser, open this link.
3. Tap one of the most recent episodes that is still behind the paywall.
4. Tap “listen via...”
5. If your preferred podcast app is on the list that pops up, tap it. The app will open, and either prompt you to add your private podcast feed to your library, or you will see a “subscribe,” or “follow” button to tap. You’re done!
6. If your app is not on the list, click “copy link,” open your app, go to the search bar, and paste the link. Your private feed should appear in the search results like any other podcast you would search for. Subscribe to that feed. You’re done!
a. Note for people listening on YouTube Music. After you’ve copied the link, the process is slightly more complicated (only slightly). Open the app, tap the “Library” tab, click “podcasts,” then “add podcast,” and “add a podcast by RSS feed.” Then paste the link in the text box and click “add.” You’re done!
Method 2: Via an Email You’ve Already Received (Doesn’t Work for Spotify)
1. Make sure you are signed into Substack on your phone’s browser. If you’re not, go here, and click “sign in.”
2. On your phone, find the first email you received when you became a paid or complementary subscriber to Deep Sy.
3. Look for the “private podcast setup” section at the bottom of the email, and click the link.
4. Click “set up.”
5. If your preferred podcast app is on the list that pops up, tap it. The app will open, and either prompt you to add your private podcast feed to your library, or you will see a “subscribe,” or “follow” button to tap. You’re done!
6. If your app is not on the list, click “copy link,” open your app, go to the search bar, and paste in the link. Your private feed should appear in the search results like any other podcast you would search for. Subscribe to that feed. You’re done!

1. On your phone, open Spotify
2. Search for Deep Sy, or find it in your library if you’re already subscribed
3. Click on one of the recent episodes that has the symbol of a lock by it.
4. On the screen that pops up, click the lock symbol.
5. Follow the prompts to connect your Substack account to your Spotify account. You’re done!
